Newspaper display ads are different from the regular “display ads” terminology, which is commonly referred to as advertisements placed on the internet in banners and other rich media formats.

Newspaper advertising has long been an effective way to market a business, with this being driven by how wide of an audience many publications have. In terms of local papers that have a small readership, companies will be able to target a specific group of people that may be interested in their products or services.
